Sugar Scrub

It’s not very often I promote the use of sugar – but when it is used on the outside and not the inside of the body, it does have some benefits. Sugar is a natural humectant and exfoliant. It both attracts and retains moisture while gently smoothing away dead skin cells. Try this Gingerbread Spice sugar scrub on – just right for this time of year – and the benefit of no added chemicals!

If you love the smell of gingerbread just out of the oven, this is the sugar scrub recipe for you. Gingerbread Spice Sugar Scrub is packed with so many sweet-smelling spices that it will be hard not to eat. (And while it is completely edible, try not to sample too much because it is better for the outside of you rather than the inside.)

The oats help heal dry, itchy skin. Ginger is known for its anti-oxidant, anti-aging and astringent properties. Brown sugar is a great exfoliator, especially in winter, because it won’t dry out your skin and it is less coarse than white sugar.
