Health Benefits Of Oil Pulling: Craze Or Truth?

 

Not sure if you’ve heard all the hype about the oil pulling  going around the web. First of all, what is this oil pull? It’s an ancient Ayurvedic technique that involves swishing a tablespoon of oil (coconut, sesame or sunflower are the most popular ones) in your mouth while pulling it between your teeth gently. This should be done first things in the morning, on an empty stomach for around 20 minutes. I think this is well worth trying if you have pain or inflammation (see the video for more information). I have to admit that I struggle with the length of time for oil pulling to be effective 🙁
