It is very interesting to know that banana peel is effective for curing acne. Lutein, present in banana peel, acts as an antioxidant, which increases the growth of cells. Peel a banana and use its peel directly on the face. Massage your face with the peel in a circular motion. After 30 minutes, when it gets dried, rinse off your face with clean water.

Just like over-washing your face dries out your skin, so can products that are far too strong for your skin type. According to board-certified dermatologist Margaret Ravits, M.D., people with sensitive skin should tread lightly when it comes to facial washes. "Avoid harsh exfoliants and physical scrubs which can irritate the skin," advises Ravits. She also suggests avoiding "alcohol-based products or products that make your face feel tingly and tight."
As bizarre as it may sound, honey can actually prove to be the perfect solution to curing acne overnight. Although it seems sticky (and like it can probably do more harm than good by clogging pores), honey actually has anti-bacterial properties that help it reduce the size of pimples. Dab a small amount of honey onto a pimple and leave it on the area for an hour; then rinse off since this shouldn’t be left on overnight.
Drink plenty of water: Our body gets dehydrated very quickly. Water is one of the important things our body organs require to function properly and it also helps in maintaining the skin soft and supple. Without enough water, our skin gets very dry and we use a heavy duty moisturize to maintain it supple. But moisturizers can clog the pores, so it is important to drink plenty of water.
Isotretinoin has a high risk of inducing birth defects if taken by pregnant women. Women of childbearing age who take isotretinoin need two negative pregnancy tests (blood or urine) before starting the drug, monthly tests while they take it, and another after they are done. Those who are sexually active must use two forms of contraception, one of which is usually the oral contraceptive pill. Isotretinoin leaves the body completely when treatment is done; women must be sure to avoid pregnancy for one month after therapy is stopped. There is, however, no risk to childbearing after that time.

Combined oral contraceptives. Four combined oral contraceptives are approved by the FDA for acne therapy in women who also wish to use them for contraception. They are products that combine estrogen and progestin (Ortho Tri-Cyclen, Yaz, others). You may not see the benefit of this treatment for a few months, so using other acne medications with it the first few weeks may help.
