Candida albicans is a common yeast that grows inside the human body. In healthy people, other bacteria and immune cells keep this yeast under control so it doesn’t cause any problems, but in some people candida can become overgrown and cause infections in various areas. One of the ways candida shows up is through the skin where it can cause noticeable reactions or infections. Other ways are on the mouth, vagina and anus.
The key to effectively fighting toenail fungus with essential oils is consistency. You need to be religious with using essential oils to see lasting results. You can’t do this once a day, then miss a day here and there and say you’re not seeing changes. If you use these two oils four times a day for two months, in 90+ percent of cases, it will clear up your toenail fungus for good!
I had toe fungus for probably about three days and I was looking for someway to get rid of it! then I saw someone saying you can put bleach on it. so just today was sitting on the couch and was looking at my nail and I completely removed it with no pain at all. under it was like a black green color which was the fungus. then I remembered the comment I read about the bleach and how it kills the fungus. so I got a small bowl of bleach dipped a Cotten ball and put it just on the fungus and repeated several times. very quickly I did notice positive results. afterwards I thought just to be safe I should use nail clippers and cut off the dead fungus. (doing this also had no pain) there is a little bit o blood when you cut it off so have something to clean that up. so now I’m hoping when my nail grows back it will be heathy again! Hope this helps someone!!

Use it daily for at least two weeks. You may see and feel improvements in the health of your infected skin after the first week, but treat the infected foot for an additional week or two after it improves to ensure that all of the fungus has been killed. I used the vinegar soak method morning and night daily on a persistent foot fungus infection and it disappeared completely after two weeks.
Don’t be ashamed! We all have stuff like this going on. There are two trains of thought with nail polish and nail fungus. One is that it does absolutely nothing harmful, the other is that it prevents any treatment from reaching the nail with the utmost efficiency. I am inclined to say that the treatments would work their best without polish, however I also don’t think they would be rendered ineffective if you did choose to use it. If you feel more comfortable with the polish, keep it. If you find you aren’t having success, try it without. And don’t fret over what your husband will think, he chose to marry you, and a little toenail fungus isn’t going to change anything 😉
If you can consume a diet that’s high in good fats and proteins along with some quality fiber — and really reduce the sugar and starches — then you’ll be on the path to eliminating candida in your body, and therefore signs of toenail fungus. Here are some more details on which types of foods to limit or remove from your diet in order to combat yeast and fungal overgrowth …
If you have diabetes, you may have reduced blood circulation and nerve supply in your feet. You're also at greater risk of a bacterial skin infection (cellulitis). So any relatively minor injury to your feet — including a nail fungal infection — can lead to a more serious complication. See your doctor if you have diabetes and think you're developing nail fungus.
Hematomas under the nail bed are large red, brownish, or black spots that occur after a trauma such as slamming a toe in a door or hitting a finger with a hammer. Caused by burst blood vessels under the nail, hematomas will grow out with the nail. However, if a red or black spot occurs under the nail without trauma, it is important to have it checked out by a doctor as it may be melanoma.
I can tell you my own mother struggled with toenail fungus on her big toe for over 10 years, and the reason why she originally got it and then continued to struggle with this fungus was the chemotherapy she went through when diagnosed with breast cancer years ago. After going through chemo, she had systemic yeast and candida issues and then developed the toenail fungus. The exact treatment I detail below is what we used with her to successfully erase her fungus.
I work with pools all spring/summer/fall every year (installing/removing/cleaning/maintaining), and am a plumber all year around, My feet are almost ALWAYS wet or in water daily, while I’ve been fortunate to have never had any fungal issue (yet), they got like how you described your feet, dry and cracked from constantly being wet and dry, What worked great for ME was to scrub my feet thoroughly with a good stiff foot scrubber brush and “Sloughing” creme (my wife got the brush and creme through her Avon makeup lady for less than $10) twice per day and than wash them off in very hot soapy water, than towel dried and powdered my feet with Johnson’s baby powder and heavily powdered my socks and shoes. That worked great for my very dry, cracked feet. they quickly became nice and smooth and soft again! No oils, meds or lotions helped. Now I just make sure that I wash, dry and powder my feet as soon as possible once they get wet or sweaty to keep them nice, and I also keep my shoes clean and dry. Good Luck!
My husband has been suffering from awful toe fungus on both of his feet for years. We have searched high and low for something that would get rid of this naturally and after years, someone recommended we look at Neem. Skeptical at first, we did some research and found that the top Neem benefit is that it is anti fungal. We found that Neem Oil is great this way we can kill the fungus and moisturize at the same time.
