I read your article about natural remedies for nail fungus. I got fungus under my big toenail after I fell off my bike and the nail got a small hole in it. I don’t take any medications and I tried EVERY natural remedy known, including the ones you list. (probably 100′s…) After a year, it had gotten so much worse that the nail was only attached by the skin around it and I was certain I would lose the nail. And then I stumbled on a phrase in an article about something else: fungus can’t grow on salt. Here is what finally worked for me: Scrub with baking soda and warm water to get the crusty stuff out from under the nail, dry it and pack it with himilayan pink salt and dab some coconut oil on the nail/skin to keep it soft and to work more of the salt as deep into the gap as possible. It stings a little at first, but it works. Within a week, the nail was growing back at the root pink and healthy! I was so desperate and discouraged and this really worked. And of course I don’t tell anyone because who wants to talk about their nail fungus! I have never seen it written anywhere before or since – pretty sure I invented this cure. Haha.
Toenail fungus is an unsightly condition caused by yeast and other types of fungi. When a fungus infects the toenail, the result is yellowing and thickening of the nail. Eventually, the nail may begin to crumble, and the area beneath it may emit a foul smell. Doctors often prescribe oral medications for treating toenail fungus, but some people prefer home remedies, such as those that use bleach to kill the fungi.
I just wanted to add that I had good results with cornmeal. I fill a tub with dry cornmeal and cover my toes in it. It feels like putting your toes in a sandy beach. I let them set in the dry mixture for about 30 min. to an hour. I try to do this about twice a week. Suffocates and dries out the fungus. I also sprinkle dry cornmeal in my shoes. I will follow up with the coconut oil, I think that will be wonderful.
I had toe fungus for probably about three days and I was looking for someway to get rid of it! then I saw someone saying you can put bleach on it. so just today was sitting on the couch and was looking at my nail and I completely removed it with no pain at all. under it was like a black green color which was the fungus. then I remembered the comment I read about the bleach and how it kills the fungus. so I got a small bowl of bleach dipped a Cotten ball and put it just on the fungus and repeated several times. very quickly I did notice positive results. afterwards I thought just to be safe I should use nail clippers and cut off the dead fungus. (doing this also had no pain) there is a little bit o blood when you cut it off so have something to clean that up. so now I’m hoping when my nail grows back it will be heathy again! Hope this helps someone!!
If you’ve tried a lot of toenail fungus treatments and you’re sick of the messy ointments, polishes, and gels, it may be time for a balm. Unlike these other solutions, a balm is a clean and comforting option to help soothe your pain and cure your fungal problem. FineVine Super Balm is one of the best antifungal balms on the market today and one that remains popular with its customers.
A lot of people take their feet for granted and tend to neglect them. Foot health is a part of overall health, however. Cracked, yellowing or discolored toenails do more than just affect your ability to wear flip flops; it may be the result of a nail fungus. Onychomycosis – more commonly referred to as toenail fungus – can cause nails to thicken, yellow, and crack, as well as cause pain, swelling, and inflammation of the toe.

For Fungi Nail to work optimally, you should apply to clean, recently washed, dry feet twice each day. Apply with the included dual-angle brush to the nail and skin and wear a well-ventilated shoe. This ointment can also work on athlete's foot or ringworm and helps moisturize skin while it reduces dryness and kills fungus. Fungi Nail treats the symptoms as well as the cause.
My girlfriend is 20 and her pinky toe nail is starting to look almost a bit deformed..? like the base of the nail has sunken in and i dont know what to do about it and we don’t really have the money to go and get any expensive ingredients or to the doctors.. :c I’m not sure what to do.. can anyone help? the nail is thick and kinda greenish ? it’s weird..
Australian tea tree oil is a two or three applications remedy. Toe nail fungus hides under the nail, but its weakness is it needs air. So after soaking your foot in hot water for a time, get a wooden tooth pick and dig under the nail to remove as much fungus as you can. You will be surprised how far in you can go. Using about the third toothpick dip that in tea tree oil several times to fill under the nail. Then dig back under the nail to get the oil as far in as you can. Its cheap , its no fuss and its natural. Tea tree oil also fixes athletes foot, Ringworm and other fungal ailments regardless of area affected. Friend had a fungal condition on his anus. A suppository soaked in tea tree oil fixed that. Doctors remedies and diet did not. Rob
