When I soaked my feet in the Listerine for 3o minutes to help with one of my toenails that might be a fungus the Listerine dried up on my feet and didn’t come off very easily. Had to scrub like crazy in the shower to get all the Listerine of my feet. Why was the Listerine dried to my skin and so difficult to get off and how can i prevent this from happening again?

I can tell you my own mother struggled with toenail fungus on her big toe for over 10 years, and the reason why she originally got it and then continued to struggle with this fungus was the chemotherapy she went through when diagnosed with breast cancer years ago. After going through chemo, she had systemic yeast and candida issues and then developed the toenail fungus. The exact treatment I detail below is what we used with her to successfully erase her fungus.

If you have an infection, you might be feeling alarmed. You might feel self-conscious about the condition and feel like you’re alone. Rest easy. Toenail fungus may be an eyesore, but it isn’t a reason for embarrassment. In fact, it is surprisingly common; more than 10% of adults have fungal nail infections. Additionally, 20% of adults over the age of 60 deal with fungus as well.
Undecylenoyl glycine is a natural substance derived from sunflower and oat proteins. This is added to Fungus Fix for two reasons: this is a natural antibacterial which can help control any bacterial infections that may be commensal with the fungus; undecylenoyl glycine also helps to support the natural acidity of the skin, making it more difficult for secondary bacterial infections to begin.

REMOVE: Fungal infections can be starved out by removing its preferred food source – sugar. Added sugars can be found in nearly all processed foods. (Check out this Rebuilding Wellness post on 60 Ways Sugar Hides in Labels.)  Natural sugars are also found in dairy, grains, and fruits. Begin by removing processed sugars from the diet and limiting natural sugars as best you can. By removing these, the fungus is deprived of what it needs to grow.
